Karen I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I remember Les’ pleasant kind attitude toward me when you were teaching me glass work. My heart hurts for you my girl.
Our hearts are broken for the great loss in your family. May he always be with you in all of your wonderful, happy memories. We send our deepest condolences.
I’m so sorry girls. He was such a gentle soul. I never forget that day on the beach when he taught us kids how to skip a rock on the water and how to find just the right one. Then absolutely twitched when us kids all piled into the van covered in sand… lol awe. ❤️❤️❤️
Hi Karen,
Am so sorry for your loss. You’re in my heart & prayers.
We are so sorry to hear of the sudden and unexpected passing of Les. We always enjoyed our visits with him and are sad to think that this will not happen ever again. Please accept our deepest condolences for your family.
Karen and Family – – We are so sad to hear of Les” passing.
We live in Devonshire Village and so enjoyed knowing him. We so appreciated his helpful ways and the many things he did for us when with us on another when we mentioned something else and his – off the record so to say – “I’m here so let’s get it done”. We also enjoyed him telling us his grandson(8) enjoyed the socks we gave him for Christmas. We know you and your family must be hurting terribly – as are we – until we think of knowing him and it lessens the hurt a bit. Our deepest sympathy.
So very sorry for your loss. I met Les in the late 1970s (1977-79) when he attended Grant MacEwan College at the Cromdale Campus in Edmonton. In fact, we were room mates for a few semesters while attending MacEwan. We lived in apartments in Clarview and near NAIT in Edmonton and hosted many great times. Les was a lovely guy, highly creative and interesting, and was always in a positive mood. We did not see much of each other after the early 80s, but I have very fond memories of Les and the many good times we had during those formative years. I recall he was a proud Saskatchewan boy, loved music, photography, design, and certainly enjoyed a good time.
May he rest in peace.
