Ethel Lillian Hoffman
On Saturday, August 24, 2024 we lost our dearly beloved wife, mother, nana and friend Ethel at the age of 68. She will be deeply missed by her loving husband William Hoffman (Bill), her daughter Teresa Hoffman (Kam), grandson Cole Hoffman (Jordan) , granddaughter Meanna Yaggey and her sister in-law Marg Bailey. She will also be missed by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. She held many others close to her heart and will be missed by all.
She was predeceased by her parents Lillian and John Johnson, sister Evelyn, brothers Bill and Chuck and grandson Michael.
Ethel Hoffman was a loving and devoted Teachers assistant for 38 years and had made a positive impacted on many children throughout her career. This beautiful soul was the foundation of our family and her door was always open to both family and friends. Her heart was full of love and kindness that she shared with everyone. If anyone needed a shoulder to cry on or a warm loving hug she was always there with open arms.
We will be hosting an open house to celebrate Ethels life on Saturday September 7, 2024 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm for anyone who would like to attend.
It will be at Ethel and Bills home Located at 3617-106 Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta.
Cremation has taken place as per her wishes, and her ashes will be scattered on the ground of her beloved lake house at Baptiste Lake near Athabasca, Alberta at a later date in September.
I hadn’t seen Ethel in way too long, but she was always kind and welcoming when I came over with Teresa. One of the kindest souls there are. You will be missed! Rest in paradise, I’m just thankful your no longer suffering, and I pray for strength for your family thru these tough times.
Ethel was a great woman. She wore her heart on her sleeve. She welcome friends of Teresa into her family. My children and I had the great privilege to call her mom and nana. She will forever be missed and loved.
