Larry David Kutt
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden & unexpected passing of Larry David Kutt, age 79, of Edmonton, Alberta from a long battle of serious medical issues.
Born on April 23, 1945 in the Salisbury District which was near Edmonton, Alberta. He moved from there at age 8 to Edmonton. Then at age 16, he decided to move to Ontario. Years later he had 2 children in Ontario, John Kutt of Guelph, Ontario and Christine Fajardo (nee Kutt) of Toronto, Ontario. Larry leaves behind 2 grandchildren, Sophie and Jacob. Due to situations, he decided to move back to Edmonton, Alberta. He some years later had other children to which he lost touch due to his internal struggles.
Larry will be sadly missed by his older sister, Judith Dean of Ohio; and brother Richard (Nancy). Survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and many friends he met on the way.
Because farming and Salisbury farm was his life as a boy, we at Larry's wish have decided to scatter ashes with the permission of Mr. Sproule on Salisbury greenhouses on Friday, Oct 11, 2024 at 2pm. 52337 Range Rd. 232 Sherwood Park, Alberta. T8B 1B8.
Dad can now be left at peace where he always wanted to be. He was strong and resilient for bearing all this for all these years.
In lieu of flowers, you can donate to a charity of your choice: The Canadian Red Cross, Heart and Stroke Foundation, The Canadian Cancer Society and/or ADHD society of Canada.
Two celebrations of life will be planned at a later date. One for Alberta and one for Ontario. One of the children will inform.
Condolences to Larry’s family. I used to work at Rexall Pharmacy Westmount before it was closed down a couple years ago. He was one of my regular & favorite customers. Before the store closed down I had recently moved to the neighborhood (Brentwood) with my young daughter Amelia. Everyday we would walk past his place to get to her daycare and we would look for the dinosaur blanket in the window. We would yell as loud as we possible could “Good morning Larry!”. We would cross paths with him on our trips to the grocery store. He would call us kids or kiddos and give us the biggest hugs. Larry was my birthday twin ♡ I miss him deeply. Him and his family are in our thoughts and prayers ♡
Hi Brandy, thank you for your kind words. I am Larry’s daughter in Ontario. I appreciate that you got to see my dad and he was able to get hugs from others. He just struggled and i will remember his last hug to me 12 years ago. At least he no longer has to suffer.
