Beverly Maureen Royer, age 65, of Edmonton, Alberta, passed away far too young on Sunday, September 8th, 2024, after a long tough battle with health conditions.

Beverly was born on August 2nd, 1959, to Galen and Bessie Royer in Edmonton, Alberta. Beverly was an extremely hard worker, had a great sense of humor, was always fair and accepting of whoever you are, and despite being a single mother, she was an incredible mother who made magic happen and never wavered in her love, support, and attention. Being a mother and the entire experience of it right from the beginning of pregnancy was Beverly’s favorite part in life. Beverly was a phenomenal woman all-around and was deeply loved by all who knew her and will be tremendously missed.

Beverly was predeceased by her parents Galen and Bessie Royer. She is survived by her daughter Patricia Royer and son Gilles Richard, her brothers Chuck Royer (Loraine), and Ken Royer (Stella), her nephews Chris Royer (Erin) and Matt Royer (Kim), and niece Michelle Royer.

A light luncheon and Celebration of Beverly’s life will be held at the Devonian Botanical Gardens (aka U of A Botanical Gardens located 5km of Devon on Hwy 60) in the Pine Pavilion on Sunday, September 22, 2024, from 11:30a.m.-3:00p.m. There will be a cart shuttle available for attendees through the gardens to the Pine Pavilion. All guests are welcome to come early or stay late to wander and enjoy the gardens before and or after Beverly’s Celebration of Life.

  1. MOM: I know you are in a better place and probably in “BLISS”, but as long as I am here, I will ALWAYS want my MOM!!!
I LOVE YOU MOM, SO SOOOO VERY DEEPLY, WITH MY ENTIRE SOUL! 😭💔😭💔😭💔😭💔😭💔😭💔😭💔😭💔😭💔

  2. Miss you Mom and will never forget all the love you gave me throughout the years. You never stayed mad at me no matter what, through thick and thin, every up n every down. Nor any other situation in this lifetime. You were my rock and the one person that has never once let me down as I always knew I could count on you no matter what. The world just lost a wonderful person, although you probably are just on the next venture in this human experience. You are always in my memories as it would be impossible for me to forget you. Xo

    • Aww … Gilles, 💔💔💔 😞
I know, she is unforgettable! I miss her so much too, and she is holding you, she always will 🥰…. Hugs ❤️

  3. I have many happy childhood memories of cousin, Bev.
Please accept our sincere condolences to all who knew and loved her, but most especially to her children, Patty & Gilles, sending our love.
    Cousin Cher & Uncle Chuck

    • Thank you 🙏 Uncle Chuck and Cher ❤️
We beam back love to you as well ❤️❤️❤️

  4. My message is to the family who will miss Beverly very much. I enjoyed Bev whenever we were able to visit, good laughs and giggles. I am sure she was the constant in your youth, Patti and Gilles, and she enjoyed your company as much as you enjoyed hers. Condolences from this side of the family.

  5. Bev,
You were a solid example and influence of a loving mother, an influence I didn’t really have from my home life.
I’ve modelled so much after you with my own children and remembered so many moments you shared about raising your kids as I was raising mine.
When I was with Patty at your house, I was well cared for. You were always a solid for me as a child and I don’t know if you truly knew how important that was for me, I will be grateful forever for that, and I will be grateful forever to have known you.
You will be missed so much 😢
    Love you
    Crystal

  6. Bev.
I met you and your children some time ago. I’m sure it was the beginning of the 90’s.
You are one of those people you just click with, it’s been forever since I saw you. Seems we all end up scattered about the globe, failing to reconnect until it’s too late!
I’m glad you are no longer in pain, hopefully dancing amongst the stars.
Till we meet again my friend.
