We have lost our dear Cathy. Beloved wife, beloved sister, beloved aunt. After a short and sudden illness Cathy passed away in St. Albert at the Sturgeon Community Hospital. We are grateful that her brother Larry was present to comfort her in her final hours. Cathy was predeceased by he parents William (Bill) Dunham, and Eileen Dunham as well as her sister Diane. She is survived by her husband Stan Miller, sisters Jeanne and Joan, and brothers Larry and Tim as well as many nephews, nieces and grand-niblings. In life Cathy was a great traveler and adventurer. Farewell on this last great adventure.
I was saddened to hear of Cathy’s passing. Sincere condolences to her family. For many years Cathy was a very important part of our work family here in Red Deer. She was my mentor and valued friend. I will miss her dearly.
Cathy was a great friend to K and I, she was so interested in our girls, always sure they were the very best. We do and will miss her sureness of nature, she cared with all her heart, her attention to detail and never in her life was she ever late. St Peter will have to be ready at the gates.
Cathy ( C.D.) was one of the first friends I met when I moved to Edmonton in the early 80’s and remained a true blessing all these years.
Her uplifting smiles, warm hugs and great laugh will be greatly missed by myself and Brian.
Our deepest sympathy to all the family she left behind.
The wonderful person we lost, is now the angel we know.

Among my memories of Cathy the one that stood out the most to me was her ‘no nonsence’ approach to life. When the gang would get together, the stories began. I would ask her a question about her work and she would bring me up to speed on the zanyness she dealt with. Her bosses were entrepreneurs and the oil money then was crazy. A number of the employees were burning through their cash leaving them with no money until the next job. Cathy and her boss decided to place these folks on an allowance to get them through to the next job. Tough love…Cathy possessed a lot of it. I considered her to be a genuine, compassionate and straight-up sincere soul.

I am saddened by the news of Cathy’s passing and wish you all comfort and peace in the happy memories you hold. I have great memories of her laughing and joking with Uncle Bill by her side when we were little. I see her happily reunited with your Mom, Dad and Diane now, until we see them again. Sending Love.
Our sincere condolences on Cathy’s passing. I worked with her for a number of years in our oilfield family
Our whole family was so sad to hear of Cathy’s passing. I only knew her for a few years while she was training me for work but over that short time, I came to see her as a friend. She was kind, straightforward, incredibly funny, and had a smile that could light up a room. She will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with all her family and loved ones.
So very sorry to hear of Cathy’s passing. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all the families. Laureen Kinzer(Kueber)

My condolences to all on the passing of Cathy. I only met her once and she was very nice. I am the cousin of Stan Miller and have been trying to contact him for quite sometime. If anyone can let Stan know that would be greatly appreciated.
So very sorry for your loss, I don’t remember the Dunham family well. We did visit Edmonton a few times as kids. I’m the daughter of Darwin Dunham.
