Colin Carl Skrepnyk
It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our loved one Colin Carl Skrepnyk who we lost to cancer, at the age of 53, on October 5, 2024.
Colin Carl Skrepnyk was born on April 9, 1971 in Edmonton, AB. The only son to Patsy (nee Yandeau) and Bob Skrepnyk.
Colin leaves to mourn: Father Bob Skrepnyk, Son Matthew Skrepnyk (Vanessa), Sister Samantha McManus (Trevor), Niece’s Kiera and Kyla, as well as many other family members, friends, and loved ones.
Colin was predeceased by: Mother Patsy Skrepnyk, Grandmother Dorothy Skrepnyk, and Grandfather Pat Yandeau.
Colin was a wonderful son, brother, proud father, grandson, uncle, and dear friend. He was a kind, caring, and genuine soul.
Colin faced many challenges in his life, but his happiness and positivity were always seen and appreciated by those around him. You never ever heard him complain. He had a great sense of humour, and a smile that was unforgettable. He loved his family, friends, and sports. He enjoyed fishing, playing lacrosse and baseball, and also watching football and the Edmonton Oilers.
We were lucky to have him. He will be deeply missed, and remembered forever. We are better people for having had Colin in our lives.
