Dave passed away peacefully in Edmonton Alberta on November 2/2024. He was born in St. John’s Nl. and is predeceased by his parents Fred and Minnie Baird and brother Joe. He leaves to mourn his brother Rick (Janice) and his nieces : Erin Tizzard (Stephen); Robine Walsh (Jason); Maryanne Baird (Tony) and Tara Sullivan; 3 great nephews; 1 great niece and his special cousins the Sullivan family of Cavell Ave. A big thank you to his Edmonton friends Brian and Scotty for their kindness during his illness. Dave was a funny, witty , generous human being. He was a fabulous dart player and loved a game of cards. We were blessed to have him as family and a friend. Goodbye Dave

  7. I always liked Dave. Even after he gave me a ride on his motorcycle many, many years ago. We only went around the block but going up over Boathouse Lane was the scariest. I’ll never forget it and I’ll never forget Dave. RIP and Godspeed
