David T. Leahy, a proud veteran of the Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry, passed away at his Edmonton home on Tuesday July 23, 2024.
David served a decade with PPCLI and valued his service, earning medals and honours.
David is survived by his dearly loved son Liam; his mother, Myrna, and his 4 siblings; Kevin (Gina), Kathleen (Gord), Shannon (Norm), and Daniel (Caril).
David will return to his Thunder Bay home at a later date to join his Dad.

  1. Lucy and Brian are truly saddened to hear of David’s passing. It’s difficult to hear of the loss of a young person and especially difficult when it is someone you have shared time with. Our thoughts go out to the Leahy family. We grieve with you. We will always hold dear our memories of time spent with David around the Leahy Thunder Bay home.

  2. No words can ever ease your pain and loss. Just know that we’re with you all. Sending you all big hugs.

  6. We were so very sad to hear the heartbreaking news of David’s passing.
    We have many fond memories of David visiting with Adam at our home in Current River in his younger years and happy the boys were there for each other continuing their friendship in Edmonton.
    Our heart goes out to Myrna and the Leahy family.
