Elena was born June 13, 1977 in Lysychansk, Ukraine. Elena immigrated to Canada in the spring of 2022 to start her new life. Elena passed away November 14, 2024 at her home north of Fairview, Alberta. Elena leaves behind a son Viktor Los in Poland also both parents who reside in Lysychansk, Ukraine. Also her brother Vitaly Koliakin who resides in Norway . Elena was a wonderful women and mother. We will all miss her dearly.

Lena You used to invite me over every Saturday and Sunday for coffee where we would sit and talk about life and laugh and laugh more. Today and yesturday with a broken heart I was over packing you and Andre’s personal things and clothes to put them in storage for Viktor. I really don’t think you knew how very much Viktor, Vitaly , Marina, myself and many others loved you. I hate the fact that you’re not here with us enjoying life, making us all laugh like you always did. We are all missing you so much. I guess if there is anything positive to think about, it would be a gained a young brother in Viktor, another brother in Vitaly and a very good friend in Marina. Without these three people listening to me hurt as they were also, it would have been incredibaly hard to get through this. I pray you are in a place that nobody will ever hurt you again.
