Scott Dwayne Arthur Gill
Scott Gill passed away officially on August 12th, 2024 in Edmonton, Alberta.
Scott was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and spent his childhood moving with his family from one Canadian Forces Base to another, pretty well from one side of the country to the other.
He settled down in Edmonton in the '90s and had lived there ever since.
Scott didn't have an easy upbringing, his life had been touched by intergenerational trauma from the Indian Residential School Systems, a dysfunctional home, military child, and a lack of family supports within the Canadian Forces military community.
He did the best he could, all things considered.
He was predeceased by his father, Richard Gill (1946 - 2017) and his paternal grandmother Marguerite Waniandy (1923 - 1987)
