Stephen Cecil Dool
It is with disbelief and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Stephen Cecil Dool in his 63rd year. Words cannot express the loss felt by his family, friends, and all who knew him. Stephen was a loving father, grandfather, partner, brother, and so much more. He had so many passions in life including his dogs, his side-by-side, flying drones, and sharing a drink with friends. He could always be found in his beloved shop working away on a bike, ATV, or any small engine dropped off on his door. Steve, or Poppa Steve, was a talented mechanic and there was never a problem he couldn’t solve. He had a fondness for learning and always wanted to share the knowledge he gained. Stephen will be greatly missed by his two children, Brittany Dool (Karl Williamson) and Bradley Dool (Keana Lister), his three grandchildren, Dahlia, Deegan, and Declan, his brother Garry Dool (Bonnie), his sister Betty Wilson, and his partner Cyndi. He is predeceased by his parents Stanley and Phyllis Dool, his brother Roger Dool (Lynn Sutherland), and his long time partner Jennifer Coupe. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Steve’s honour to the Ottawa Humans Society and/or the Canadian Cancer Society. A celebration of life will be held on Friday May 30, 2025 at the Richmond Curling Club between 4:30pm and 8:00pm. The address is 6117 Perth Street, Richmond, ON, K0A 2Z0.
