It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dearly loved, Tina Marie Goerz, on October 1st 2024.
Tina was a warrior and was fighting to the very end. She was a strong and amazing woman and will always be remembered for her cheeky stubbornness and awesome sense of humour.
Tina spent a good portion of her life helping others. And that was who she was. No matter what she was always there for the people she cared about. That was her strength. She never judged, she just helped. In any way she could.
Tina is survived by her 3 children, Jesse, Kory and Michael. They loved their mother fiercely. And stood by her, helping her fight right to the very end.
Tina loved family and fun. A nice bonfire on a summer night, dinner and slots or blackjack at the casino, or just hanging in the living room surrounded by people she loved. As long as she was surrounded by the people she loved who were always there for her, she was happy.
Please join us in celebrating Tina by taking a moment to share with us your favourite memory. Maybe have a shot of screech to honour her when you do.
We love her and miss her in ways that cannot be put into words. But she will be with us always and our love for her will live forever.

  1. A celebration of life will be arranged. We will keep people posted.

  2. I met Tina when I was just turning 18 years old. We were at different stages in our lives. She had a family and I was just starting life. We were co-workers who became fast friends. She was a mentor and a cheeky firecracker. She loved going out and dancing. Our favourite tune was “Life is a Highway” She was a giver and she was loyal to her friends. She could be the soft heart when you needed it or she could be the swat on the back of your head when you needed it. She was not afraid to love and she fought to live a full life. She gave me kindness, care, protection and truth. Tina will live on in her 3 wonderful children. They will be protectors, they will be lovers and they will definitely be fighters when it is needed and loyal to those they love. I will miss her so very much.

  3. To Jessie, Kory and Michael,

    Love, Aunty Terry

I used to love hanging out and auntie Tina’s, it was no holds bar, she used to let us be kids, play floor hockey in the kitchen and tear up all floors of the townhouse. Our families would get together for diner at they’re place and aunty Tina would make the best ribs, the real saucy ones and us kids would see who could get the messiest when eating them, great core memories.
