Chase Evan Gourlay passed away suddenly the evening of January 25 2022. He is survived by his mother and father, his sister and two adoring nieces. Chase was a truly phenomenal young man that words cannot do enough justice to describe. He was a fountain of knowledge with a truely golden heart. He was talented in the art of jujitsu and a plethora of other worthy skills. He is a beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew and friend. He will be loved and missed deeply by all of us until, hopefully, we meet again. You were another little brother to me and I am very sad that you have passed on. I wish that I could have been there for you. To guide you and to give you guidance and empathy. You left too soon. I hope that whenever you are now that you are happy and that the pain you felt has disappeared.
Darleen,

I’m so sorry for your loss. I enjoyed Chase’s company at jiu jitsu very much. He was a kind and friendly soul and he will be missed. Thank you so much for streaming the service so that more of us can say goodbye.
