Glenda Greta Merrill
Glenda peacefully passed away on December 6th, 2022 at the age of 67.
Loving mother to Robbie (Natasha) Merrill and Carey (Scott) Hill. Involved grandmother to 5 grandsons and 1 granddaughter. Adoring sister of Billie Bannister (late John), Ginger Mackey (Bernie), Lawrence Mackey (Helen), Loretta Geertsma (Bert), Glenn Mackey (Lucy), and Melinda Plato (Len). She was predeceased by her parents Cecil Mackey and Evelyn Prescott and her siblings Aileen Thistle (Alex), Mervin Mackey, Marlene Rolfe, Mitchel Mackey, June Friend, Patricia Sutherland, Jean Bajcar, and Barbara Mackey.
Glenda made it her life mission to provide for her loved ones and took pleasure in traveling, attending concerts, and entertaining family and friends.
May she forever rest in peace knowing that she lives on in the hearts of her loved ones and all those who lives she impacted.
My sister was born waiting for my arrival. Her beautiful smile and sparkling eyes, a pillar of strength for her son and daughter. Graced with patience a loving grandmother surrounded herself with her grandchildren Emery, Austyn, Graycen, Ryker, Ayden and Emma. More than a sister, a steady and solid friend of mine.
Always caring and loving to let us do, she would say, whatever turns your chank, without disappointment nor criticism. Everyday I tell her I love her without goodbyes. I thank her for drying my eyes. For I see clearly now, She’s in the spirit world patiently waiting again for me. Love you always Glenda

I miss my great sister-in-law. We often shopped and have lunch together. We would garden and have fun visits together. We try on dresses and take many photos. We always had a lot of fun. My condolence to Robbie, Carey and their families.
