It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Lorraine (Bunty) Joyce Webb (nee Hay) on Thursday, April 24th, 2025, at the age of 82 years. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.

Lorraine was born in 1943 in Hamilton, Ontario to her parents Gwendolyn and Jack Fenwick. Jack was a pilot in WWII and was killed in action. Her mother remarried Douglas Hay and raised Lorraine as his own. That union provided her five siblings, Jim, Alan, Susan, Ian and Richard. She adored her siblings and loved helping to raise them. Growing up in London and Toronto provided her with the opportunity to participate in various sports where she found her love of skating. She was an avid skater and passed on her passion to those she coached.

In 1968 she met and married Norman Webb in Sioux Lookout, ON and was blessed with five children. They spent time living in Edmonton, Moose Factory and mostly Prince Albert. Her life was devoted to caring for others, including children and mentally challenged adults. Lorraine had the biggest heart and loved unconditionally. Was very proud of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and they always brought a smile to her face. Her home was always open to others who needed a home, a meal, or just a visit. Her generosity of spirit afforded her many amazing friends that she truly cherished.

She is survived by her siblings, Ian Hay (Linda Camwood), Alan Hay (Diane Oullette), and Richard Hay; her children, Annalisa ( Roger) Ambrosi, Debbie (Doug) Dowhay, Alex (Amanda) Webb, Chris Webb, and Jason (Sherrie) Webb; her grandchildren Nicholas, Jessica, Courtney, Lyndon, Michael, Meegan, Kylie, Sebastian, and Logan and great-grandchildren Elayna, Kaylee, Ty, and Zora. As well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was pre-deceased by her parents Gwen and Doug Hay, Victor (aka Jack) Fenwick. Her bother Jim Hay and sister Susan (Hay) Shenton.

Even though we can no longer hug you and hold your hand we will keep you forever in our hearts and there will not be day that will go by that we won’t miss you.
