Debbie “Deborah” Audet, 63, the beloved matriarch of the Audet family, passed away peacefully on November 21st, 2025 holding the hand of her granddaughter Takayla, surrounded by family.
Born on September 23rd, 1962 in Edmonton, Alberta. Debbie’s greatest joy and achievement was her amazing, close knit family.
As a mother of three, grandmother of eight, wife to the love of her life, Debbie was the heart of the Audet family. Her kitchen was the gathering place for special dinners, holiday celebrations, and impromptu family visits. Debbie had a knack for remembering every birthday, anniversary, and important date in her children’s and grandchildren’s lives, never failing to send some birthday money, gifts or make a call. Her homemade cabbage rolls were legendary and will be a staple in all family dinners.
Debbie is survived by her beloved husband Robert, their children Tracy, Laura and Steven, and their beautiful grandchildren Shavaz, Takayla, Kamel, Mason, Tori Lynn, Abel, Max and Mya, her fur babies Angel and Molly and her father Mike Kliparchuk. She will be missed greatly.

Rick and I have spent time with Debbie and Bob often when we’ve visited Laura and Joe. Her love for her family and her joy in spending time with her grandchildren always shines through. We will always be thankful for how both Debbie and Bob opened up their home and accepted our son Joe into their family with open arms. Our thoughts go out to Bob and family as you meet the challenges of moving on without Debbie in your lives. The memories of her will live on in each of you.

I was very saddened to hear of Debbie’s passing. We grew up down the street from one another, and were childhood friends. Although we lost touch many years ago, I still have fond memories of our young friendship. My condolences to the family.

    • Laura says:

Thank you for the reply Brenda. I have fond memories of our childhood, I was friends with your daughter Karen. Thank you for your condolences.

I was so fortunate to meet up with my cousin Debbie. Even if it was unfortunate circumstances that she and my husband Mario were going through Mesothelioma. When I was a young girl I spent lots of summers with my Uncle Mike and Auntie Jean, along with my cousins Michael, Laura and Debbie. So many memories of years spent together at our grandparents farm in Rochester. Condolences to Debbie and her family. Hugs dear cousin.
