It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Jessie Margaret Maxwell at the age of 95. Jessie lived a long and full life, surrounded by the love of her family and friends.
Jessie will be lovingly remembered by her children: Roy (Karen), Wendy (Bill), Trudy, and Grant (Sharon). She was a proud Nana to six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Her family was her greatest joy, and she took immense pride in watching each generation grow and enjoy time together.
Jessie had a deep love for family gatherings, where laughter was plentiful and everyone felt welcome. She found great happiness in nature, especially watching the birds and enjoying the simple beauty of the outdoors. She never refused a piece of chocolate, enjoyed a good game of bridge, and looked forward to Sunday family dinners shared around the table with those she loved most. Known for her quick wit and playful sense of humor, Jessie was a true jokester who was always ready with a clever remark or a lighthearted tease.
Jessie’s legacy lives on in the traditions she cherished, the family she adored, and the many memories that will be held close forever. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.
The family sincerely appreciates the staff of Touchmark LTC for their exceptional care and kindness, as well as her Touchmark family with whom she grew very close.
Cremation has taken place and the family has chosen to have a private event.
