It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Kerri Couch on September 12, 2026, at the age of 51.
Kerri will be lovingly remembered by her parents, Dave and Cindy Couch; her brother, Jeff (Jennifer); her beloved nephews, Ethan and Evan Couch; numerous Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.
Kerri was a bright light in the lives of her family and many wonderful friends. She was generous, kind, and always ready with her wonderful sense of humour. She had a way of making people feel welcome, and the friendships she made were incredibly important to her.
Kerri found so much joy in the things she loved. She treasured watching Ethan and Evan play hockey and golf, spending time with her parents and friends, and making memories at the cabin. Golf was one of her great passions, as was dancing and spending time in Arizona. Whether she was enjoying a round of golf, relaxing at the cabin, or simply visiting with the people she loved, Kerri knew how to enjoy life and the company of others.
Our family, along with Kerri’s many friends and extended family, will miss her deeply. Her laughter, generosity, and bright spirit will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
The family would like to express heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Michael Sawyer and the nurses at the Cross Cancer Institute for their compassionate care, as well as the dedicated doctors and nurses in the Gastro Unit at the University Hospital. Their kindness meant so much to Kerri and to all of us.
Kerri will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.
