Timothy William Jack Laviolette, born January 19, 1963, in Ottawa, Ontario, passed away in Edmonton, Alberta on March 31, 2024.

Tim was survived by his son Troy Laviolette, sister Tammy Laviolette, brother Christopher MacDonald, and his two nieces Courtney Good and Chloe Macias.

Although the physical distance was great, he has always been in our hearts and prayers, especially his son Troy, who cared for his father deeply.

Tim will be laid to rest at the Notre Dame Cemetery in Ottawa where he will be buried with his parents Roy Laviolette and Constance Laviolette (nee Tudan) and his uncle John Laviolette.

Fly high Tim, may you now be at peace. xoxo

  1. Rest in peace, Uncle Tim. Thanks for helping me learn to ride a bike.

    Love,

    Courtney

  2. Dear Tim,
I will cherish my memories of us when life was simple, we were Timmy and Tammy, you were my best buddy and we did everything together. Swimming and fishing and climbing trees at the lake when we were kids; hanging out with the same friends blasting our classic rock albums and getting into a bit of mischief as teenagers. I remember how proud you were when you became a father to Troy (he reminds me so much of you when you were a young man). Those are the memories that I will hold close to my heart. I will think of you every time I play Led Zepplin and will make sure to turn it up loud so you can listen with me!
    Rest in Peace brother Tim.
    Love,
    Tammy xoxo
