It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Frank Dragon, beloved husband, father and friend, who left us on September 9, 2025 at the age of 69.
He is predeceased by his Father (Frankie), Mother (Stella), his brothers David, Chris, Ed, Steve and his niece Jennifer. He is survived by his sisters Frances (Roger), and Hazel (Dave) and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A devoted family man, Frank found his greatest joy in the love of his wife (Pam), and 3 sons Derrek (Erin), Nick (Taylor), Alex and grandson Theo, granddaughter Charlee. He was a proud and supportive father who never missed a game, whether he was coaching or always cheering from the stands and celebrating his boys accomplishments both on and off the field.
A passionate sports fan, Frank was a lifelong supporter of the Edmonton Oilers, Edmonton Eskimos, and the Toronto Blue Jays. Whether at the rink, the stadium, or in front of the TV, his enthusiasm and dedication to his Teams were unwavering. He also loved to play golf with his sons.
In the later years, Frank enjoyed the peace and comfort of the family’s lake lot, where he spent countless days surrounded by nature, relaxation and most importantly, family. These moments reflected the true heart of who he was – a man who cherished togetherness and lived with love and loyalty.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his family, friends and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Frank’s Celebration of Life will be private at a later date.
