It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Melvin Morris, who passed away peacefully on October 1, 2025 in Edmonton at the age of 70.
He is survived by his daughter Amber, siblings Marlene and Kevin, cousin Rory, and his good friend Kim, along with many friends who will cherish his memory.
Melvin was devoted to his family and lived his life with a generous and giving heart. A hard working and dedicated man, he poured energy into tow truck driving and roofing ventures, following in the footsteps of his father, Jack Morris.
He was a lifelong fan of car racing, a passion that brought him energy and excitement throughout his years. He also had a zest for poker and trips to Las Vegas, where he enjoyed the game and the company it brought. Above all, Melvin will be remembered for his unwavering love of family and friends, his strong work ethic, and the way he supported those around him.
A Celebration of Life will be held on October 4, 2025, at 2:00 PM #100, 2301 Premier Way, Sherwood Park. Friends and family are invited to gather, share memories, and honor Melvin’s life.
