On September 17, 2025, Gail Christina Humeniuk of Edmonton, passed away at the age of 84 years.

Gail was born on June 20, 1941 in Edmonton. She is survived by her husband of 64 years – William (Bill) Humeniuk; two sons – Jim (Shelley) of Regina SK, Garry of Edmonton, one daughter – Maureen (Brian) Sakovich of Edmonton; six grandchildren – Ashley (Mitchell), Brendan (Carol-Ann), Tim, Jordan (September), Janine (Colby), Brayden; eight great grandchildren – Isabella, Raelee, Harlow, Tegan, Cadence, Copeland, Lennon, Briar; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Gail was predeceased by her parents – Jack (February 28, 1982) and Joyce (July 13, 1967) MacNaughton, and her sister – Donna Butler (March 8, 1996). Gail loved music and singing, and she is now likely to be leading a choir of Angels. The Cremation has taken place. In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to the Cross Cancer Institute in Edmonton Alberta.
