Hector Joseph Dansereau
Hector passed away in Stauffer, Alberta on Wednesday, October 8 at the age of 83. Hector will be remembered by his three children: Martin (Bonnie) Dansereau, Andre (Cathy) Dansereau, and Terri (Scott) Delbridge. He leaves behind six grandchildren: Blaise Smith, Maslyn (Garrett) Scott, Shaela Dansereau, Hayleigh Dansereau, Shelby Delbridge, and Brooke Delbridge; along with two great grandchildren, Toren Smith and Iza Scott. Hector is also survived by his sister, Helen LaPointe. He was predeceased by his parents, Leopold and Alouisa Dansereau and his sister Suzanne Vallée.
Hector was born in Edmonton, Alberta on April 12, 1942. He had a deep love for the land, his animals, and especially his horses, finding joy and purpose in the simple beauty of country life.
No funeral services will take place as per his wishes.
