Born July 30, 1942 in Pratola Serra, Italy, Alessandra “Sandrina” Courtepatte immigrated to Canada with her family when she was 19 years old. Throughout her years Sandrina lived a productive life caring for her four children and two grandchildren. Additionally, Sandrina is predeceased by her two husbands, her two sisters, mother, father and her cat Fifi.
Unfortunately, after a long battle with dementia and colon cancer, on May 31, 2025, Alessandra “Sandrina” Courtepatte passed away peacefully in bed during the morning hours. She will be sadly missed by her Son Carmine, Granddaughter Brittney, Grandson’s Damiano and Donato, Son Brian, and two daughters Sandy and Fina.
Sandrina was an extremely generous and loving individual, she will be greatly missed and remembered for her kindness, generosity and her famous tortellini dishes and chicken noodle soup. We will continue to pay tribute to her through her famous Christmas lasagna.
