It is with profound sadness and heartbreak, that we announce the unexpected passing of Arnie Sapkos; father,
brother, son, husband. On March 21, 2023, he slipped away quietly in sleep.
He will be sadly missed by his daughters; Morgan, Amanda, Myranda; wife Marg (Anderson); brother Darrell
(Darlene), sister Angie, nephews Dustin, Blaine, Luke, Levi, niece Tara, great-niece Khloe, along with 2nd mom
Jean, siblings Gail, Kathy & Dave, and an abundance of extended family and friends.
He was pre-deceased by his father Stanley Sapkos (2016) and mother Marguerite Sapkos (2022).
A Celebration of Life will take place at St Andrew’s United Church, Spruce Grove AB, on Sat April 1, 2023 at 2
pm. Cremation will take place.
In lieu of flowers, donations gratefully accepted to any of the following: Edmonton Native Healing Centre;
Alberta Native Friendship Centres Association; Canadian Diabetes Association of Alberta; Kidney Foundation of
Canada; Heart & Stroke Foundation.

I am only hearing of this now and was shocked and saddened as I had been close to Arn many years ago, and will never forget how he was so fun and smart and played guitar and sang. Miss those days with Arnie and the Wade and Wayne brothers. We always had so much fun!♡ Arnold Sapkoskous may you rest in peace now, with love your friend Caroline 🧡.
