BERTRAND, Belle, passed away suddenly at the Grey Nun’s hospital (Edmonton) on Sunday, May 14, 2023, in her 76th year. Belle Bertrand, of Edmonton, AB, formally of LaPasse, ON. Caring wife of the late Andre Clement. Loving mother of Bianca Bertrand and Christian Bertrand (Pearl) both of Edmonton, AB. Loving grandmother of Andrew Bertrand (Julie) of Edmonton, AB, Malea Calvert of Edmonton, Keith Mervyn of Edmonton, April Verhaeghe of Acheson, and great grand children Riley Medema of Edmonton, and Lilith Rain Verhaeghe of Acheson. Predeceased by her parents Delbert and Edythe Bertrand and younger brother Christopher. Dear sister of Albert (AB) Bertrand (Barbara) of LaPasse, ON., Susan Kowalski (Joe) of Beachburg, ON., Jim Bertrand (Pam) of LaPasse, ON., Debby Lemaire (Roy) of Beachburg, ON., John Bertrand (Nellie) of LaPasse, ON, David Bertrand (Krista) of Beachburg, ON, and Patty Ladouceur (George), of LaPasse, ON.
The lovely lady Belle was loved by all and will be dearly missed by many. She was Nana to most people and was a kind and loving person. She gave way more than she took and had a heart of gold. Belle had many interests which included music, nature, a love of plants, and enjoyed doing puzzles. When she was younger she loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping with her family and friends. Belle was a dreamer with a fiery and wild soul. May the winds carry her far. So mote it be 💙
A Celebration of Life for Belle will be held in July 2023. The details will be made available closer to that time.
