It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Debbie Sylvia Ann Burton, who passed away on Dec 23rd 2024.
Born on Dec 31st 1952 to proud Finnish parents Bill and Mary Laine, Debbie was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was known for her kindness, and her dedication to help any person or animal in need.
Debbie cherished her family, and her happiest times were had visiting with her children, grandchildren and extended family.
She is survived by her daughter Teralee (Scott) and son Tyler (Ashley), Grandchildren Avery, Violet and Flynn.
Debbie will be deeply missed by all who knew her. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held in Summer 2025 in Saskatchewan.

my condolences to Debbie’s family & friends . We lived together in Glendon for two years. I loved her as a sister!
Deepest sympathy to the family. Debbie was a nice person, alot like her wonderful mother, Mary Laine. Mary brought me flowers the first time she came to visit me, telling me that was a Finnish tradition, also had to buy treats for my kids any time she saw us in town. Debbie was a devoted sister to Marian Peterson, also my friend, and we had many lovely visits in the Esterhazy Centennial Special Care
