It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joshua James Biasini. He is survived by his mother, Suzanne; his sister, Gia; his brother, Michael Fourlaris; as well as his uncles, aunts, paternal grandparents, numerous cousins, and friends. His Uncle Graziano predeceased him, his maternal grandparents Giuseppe and Angela, his dog Shay (Shaggy), as well as his father, Ethimios (Tim) Fourlaris. A service will be held on Tuesday, July 14th, at 10 am, at Santa Maria Goretti Church with a luncheon to follow next door at the center. Please RSVP your attendance to s.biasini@shaw.ca.
Joshua started his life out playing sports, including soccer, hockey, and football. His one true love as a teenager was music, and ultimately the band that he was a guitarist and singer in called Unbalanced. He formed early important friendships with Jerry, Nick, Richard, Jordan, and Ted as well as numerous band groupies.
Josh enjoyed camping in more recent years, being out in nature. He worked as a boiler maker/welder and enjoyed building things with his skills such as modding out the bumper on his truck(s), installing new suspensions, lifts and bigger tires! He even taught his sister and mom a few things.
Josh enjoyed hanging out and helping friends, whether it was helping people move or just helping out with routine car maintenance, or fixing up broken things. He also enjoyed action movies and working out at the gym.
He always wanted kids, but never found the right person to share a life with.
Joshua had struggled with past transgressions towards him as a child and in response developed PTSD, which all his life was masked as mental illness. It is a struggle that so many people live with. Joshua was no stranger to it. He tried really hard, especially these past two years, but something always seemed to knock him down. He will always be loved no matter what. He is finally at peace, and he can’t be hurt anymore.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Canadian Mental Health Association, https://edmonton.cmha.ca/get-involved/donate/.

Sending my condolences as i won’t be able to make it today.
I met Josh in 2019 at work in our trade of Boilermakers and thought what a character, however a friendship grew and we got on. I remember always saying “what’s good Biasini” when I saw him and he’d say ” hey Jerome my guy”. He was a cool cat and will be missed with absolute certainty. My condolences tou you family Biasini and relatives. Rest easy Josh.

Our hearts are with you during this time of unimaginable loss. We are holding you close in our thoughts and sending our deepest condolences.
My heart is broken!!! He always called me auntie and often confided in me. Life kept putting so many roadblocks on him and dealing with PTSD proved difficult. He only wanted to be loved and accepted. He had been telling me the last couple of years how he so badly wanted to be married and have children. You can finally rest in peace sweet Joshua. Every time I make your favourite food, I’ll think of you. I know how you loved your food.
My condolences to his sweet mom Sue who always tried to make him happy and be there for him no matter what!! And to Gia, my condolences. May God bless his soul.
