Bob Elkew
It is with great sadness that the family of Bob Elkew announce his peaceful passing at the age of 71 years on November 16, 2022 at Grey Nuns Hospital in Edmonton Alberta.
Bob was born November 24th, 1950 in Melfort, Saskatchewan. He retired in Edmonton, Alberta in 2005 from Greyhound Bus Services after working with them for 25 years. He worked for his own handy man business StewNick Contracting for a few years then went back to driving bus. Bob enjoyed camping with family, playing pool, playing cards, wearing his cowboy boots, and he never left home without a comb in his back pocket.
Bob will be lovingly remembered by his former wives Lizz Hewko and Leora Mallow, his children Kendra Cardinal (Lamont), Stewart Elkew (Becky), and Nikolas Elkew. He will also be remembered by his sister Anne Taylor, six grand-children, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He is predeceased by his father Peter, mother Lena, brother Peter, and brother John.
A celebration of life will take place at a later date.

It is with happy thoughts that we recall good times spent with Bob, Leora, Kendra & Stuart when we lived across the street in Warman. Bob was always there to lend a helping hand, ready to share a story or take us along for a fishing trip.
Life takes us in different directions so unfortunately we haven’t met in a long long time. Вічная Пам’ять!
