August 22, 2022 1 Condolence Print Obituary Send Flowers

It is with the heaviest of hearts that the family announces the passing of Christopher on Saturday, August 13th 2022 at the age of 56. Christopher was a beloved son, a cherished father, a proud uncle, and a loyal friend.

He will be fondly remembered and forever treasured. He is survived by his son Mitchell (Jess); daughter Carolyn (Caden); father Rolando and mother Julie; brother Oliver (Villa) and nephew Leo; sister Elizabeth (JT), niece Alyssa and nephew Julius; and cousins Gabriel and Francis. He was predeceased by his niece Jasmine and beloved canine Hector.

Chris moved to Canada at a young age from the Philippines and took advantage of every opportunity Canada offered him. He built a career in IT, building computers from the ground up and developing company software (but mostly being his family's personal IT guy anytime we called). He had a passion for fashion, a strong love for singing and music, took delight in photography, held a deep adoration for his children, and was a doting "dog dad" to his cherished chihuahua Hector.

The family extends a wholehearted thank you to the many staff in Hemodialysis 5B1 at the University Hospital as well as the DATS drivers Christopher had become so familiar to. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the University Hospital Foundation or the Edmonton Humane Society.

  1. Heartfelt condolences and sympathies to Mitch and Karry on the loss of their Dad.

Chris was a very kind guy, who loved to laugh, loved good food, and always talked about how much he loved his kids and his chihuahuas Hector and Lola.

I shared many laughs and good memories with Chris during my time working with him, he was a good dude.

I’ll miss Chris and our chats but will hold onto the many happy memories of the small amount of time I got to hang out with him at the office.

Rest in peace old friend, and may you find happiness, comfort and peace that you so deserve.
