Eileen Marie Lynes
Eileen Marie Lynes, devoted wife of Donald Lynes, passed away peacefully on April 10th, 2024, at the age of 86. She is survived by her children: Kathy (Dennis) Duke, Greg (Merrilee) Lynes, Sandy (Ross) Peregrym, and Daryl (Shelley) Lynes along with grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister Diane, brother Ted (Sophie) Powlik, and extended family.
Eileen enjoyed a wonderful career at West Parkland Gas retiring in July of 2020 after 40 plus years. She very much enjoyed their acreage and taking care of her geraniums and gardens. She was never one to miss a sporting event on TV, from hockey, football to curling and was an avid Oilers fan.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Misericordia Hospital for their care and compassion shown to Eileen during her last two months.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no service.
