It is with heavy hearts that the family of George Brown announce his passing on February 28, 2023. George will be lovingly remembered by his wife Gisela of 56 years, his children Collin (Annette), Randal (Kathy) and Lori (Rob) Brandt, grandchildren Kyle (Paige) Brown, Brennan Brown (Aly), Mackenzie Brown, Wyatt Brown (Tori), Lexie Brandt (Linden), Jay Brandt and sister Rosamy (Wayne) Krupa.

George was a happy and fun loving husband and father. He really loved music - playing guitar, singing in the band and many basement jam sessions. He enjoyed running heavy equipment, farming, always had a joke to tell, and often serenaded his wife with love in his heart and eyes.

George loved spending time with family and numerous friends; camping, quading/snowmobiling and travelling. After selling the farm in 2011 and moving to Barrhead, life had its downside with health issues.

Thank you is extended to doctors and staff at both Barrhead Health Care Centre and The Royal Alexandra Hospital for George’s care.

A celebration of life will be held at the Cherhill Community Hall on Saturday March 18, 2023 at 1:00pm, lunch and camaraderie to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Barrhead Health Care Centre Auxiliary (in memory of George A Brown).
