Lawrence Hydaman
It is with great sadness that the family of Lawrence Hydaman announce his passing on October 30, 2022 at age 82.
He was predeceased by his Dad, Peter, Mom Olga and step-dad John.
Lawrence is survived by his loving wife Janie of 56 years. Son, Scott (Diana). Brothers Ray (Carol ), Gary (Francis) and Sister Brenda plus many friends and extended family.
Lawrence was born near Kamsack, SK. then later moved near Swan River, MB. He met and married Janie in 1966.
After obtaining his Journeyman papers in the Motor Vehicle Trade he spent most of his working life specializing in Transmission Rebuilding.
Upon retirement in 2005 he and Janie moved to Edmonton to be near their Son, whom he loved dearly.
He grew a beautiful garden each year at the Community Center supplying many neighbors and the Food Bank. Even the Mailman got a bag of cucumbers.
His great love of animals surrounded Chancey their first Sheep Dog. Then Homer who we got as a puppy. He was the center of his life for 15 years.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. A private interment will take place at a later date.
