Lawrence was born on January 3rd, 1953 in Camrose. He was the third born out of eleven to Frank and Phyllis Heisler (both predeceased). He married Annie (Dewald) on January 24th, 1976 in Camrose. Lawrence and Annie had one child, Lawrence Heisler Jr, who was born on July 29th, 1976 in Camrose. Lawrence was Papa to Brooke (predeceased), Ty and Piper.
Due to Lawrence’s laid back, easy-going nature, he was given the nickname ‘Leisure’. He enjoyed anything outdoors, specifically golfing, hunting, fishing and camping. He also enjoyed competing in archery tournaments and billiard tournaments, of which he won several competitions. After many years of working as a carpenter, Lawrence became a professional tinkerer in his retirement.
Leisure always had time for his family and friends to lend a hand or enjoy a drink with. We know he will happily be teaching his granddaughter Brooke new pranks to pull on their loved ones.
Lawrence leaves behind his immediate family: Annie, Jr, Lesley (Jr), Ty, Piper, his siblings: Isabel (Beadle), Linda (Forre), Carol (Thomson), Bill and Lorraine, plus many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He will be missed by all that knew him.
Forever in our hearts, until we meet again.
There will be a Celebration of Lawrence’s Life for immediate family at a later date, TBA.
