It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend. Robert Eugene (Bob) Clarke passed away peacefully on March 18,2023 at the age of 73. His family was by his side at the time of his passing and he was surrounded by so much love leading up to his passing by the wonderful friends who became family.

He will be deeply missed by his wife, Sharon Messenger, his two children, Kristy Harris and Gregg Clarke, his step daughters Malaine (Steve) Parenteau and Jamie Wark, 6 grandchildren, Jane Mercer, Brandon Clarke , Kailey Harris, Dakota McIvor, Hunter Reesor and Layne (Alice) Parenteau.

His love of life and laughter will always be treasured by all who knew him. He overcame many obstacles in life. His wisdom helped so many people in so many ways. His legacy is one of resilience and strength.

Cremation has already taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

  5. I’ll miss the humour that Robert brought to all our visits. His abiity to withstand the constant pain he was experiencing has to be admired. It is comforting to know that he is now resting in peace.

  11. So sad to read this today. I have known Bob since we were young boys growing up in Curling. He was a very talented hockey player, a teammate for many years. He was also a member of our wedding party. Sending our heartfelt condolences to his family. RIP Bob🙏🙏

  16. Sorry to hear oh Bob’s passing ..as a kid i would listen to the Royals hockeys games out here in Victoria and we would always cheer for the Royals…I was very proud to say that he was family…Sorry for your loss.

  34. So sorry to hear of Bobby’s passing. We played hockey together for years with the Corner Brook Royals. He was of the best hockey players in the Newfoundland Senior Hockey League. We were great friends and had lots of laughs together.
