Royden Gerald Gardner
Roy passed away suddenly at age 78 on September 15th 2022 after a short health crisis at the University of Alberta Hospital in Edmonton.
Roy leaves behind his wife Barbara Bauer, his children Melvin Gardner, Tammie Gardner and their mother Linda Gardner, his grandchildren Triton Walker, Tyler Gardner and Haven Walker along with his sister Muriel Dickenson and niece Bonnie Campbell and numerous family and friends to mourn his passing.
Roy was predeceased by his daughter Sandra in infancy, his Father Skiffington and his mother May.
Roy was born in St Stephan NB and raised in McAdam NB before coming to spend his life and raise his family in Alberta. Roy was known for his kind and friendly nature and universally liked by all who had the privilege to know him. He will be missed.
Roy did not wish to have people gather after his passing in any formal way but rather to remember him privately in our grief and support each other in remembering his life.
Special thanks to the doctors, Nurses and all the wonderful staff that helped and cared for him while at the U of A.
Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers a donation in his memory can be made to a charity of one's choice.
