Russell John Mitchell
July 5, 1965 – December 17, 2021
With deep sadness and love we announce the passing of Russell Mitchell at the age of 56.
Russ was born in Stettler, Alberta and spent his childhood in Edmonton and Vancouver. As an adult, he planted his roots in Edmonton.
Russ was a fine and gifted artist with numerous creative talents. He loved family history, playing guitar, cooking and had a keen sense of humour. We can still hear his laughter.
Russ was the youngest of six siblings. He leaves behind his sisters; Ellen, Linda (Roland), Evelyn (Ian); his daughter Tabitha, his son Daniel; many nieces and nephews and extended family members.
Russ was predeceased by his mother Della, father Ken, brother Bobby and sister Donna.
An immediate family gathering will be held at a later date.
He will always be in our hearts. Rest in peace.
