It is with heavy hearts that the family of Diana Lynn Thompson announces her passing on November 25, 2025, in Swan Hills, Alberta, at the age of 58.
She will be lovingly remembered by her parents, Patricia and Richard Thompson; her brother, Robert(Jennifer) ; and her three sisters, Eileen (Johnny), Bonnie (Morris) and Pauline (Doug). She is also survived by her three children – two sons, Richard (Mira) Jacob (Mckenna), and her daughter, Brittany (Cody) – their father, Lawrence, as well as her two cherished grandchildren, Payton and Kai, who were the light of her life.
She will be deeply missed by her best friend, Roxanne, and forever reunited in memory with her childhood friend Tammy Sernes.
Diana found her greatest joy in the simple and meaningful things in life. She loved camping and fishing, took pride in cooking for the people she loved, and was known for her strong work ethic and dedication. She also leaves behind her three beloved Shih Tzu’s, who were her constant companions.
She will be remembered for her strength, her caring nature, and the love she gave so freely to her family and friends. Her memory will be forever treasured.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Memorial Donations may be made in Diana’s name to The Canadian Mental Health Association Alberta Division and Centre for Suicide Prevention if desired.
