Gordon (Gordo) Sales passed away unexpectedly in his home in Wainwright, Alberta, at the age of 71 years. Gord was born in New Westminster, BC to parents Reece and Mary (Feniak) Sales. He grew up in Fort Langley but lived the majority of his life in Alberta. During his retirement he enjoyed travelling with his wife Lorraine to Bashford’s in Niland, California for the winter and enjoyed their summers at Lac Sante, Alberta where he enjoyed gardening, raising his beloved chickens and Koi fish before finally settling in Wainwright Alberta to be close to their grandchildren.
Gord was predeceased by his parents, Reece and Mary Sales, and brothers, Ivan and Jerry Sales. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife, Lorraine Sales; daughter Jayme (Dillon) Lavergne; son Ryan Sales; grandchildren Saphira Lavergne, Darien Lavergne and Brayden Powers as well as one brother Dale (Lorraine) Sales; three sisters, Marie (Leon) Black, Betty (Dana) Hyshka, and Janet (Brad) Bezovie. He will also be greatly missed by numerous nieces and nephews.

Gord’s family would like to thank the Wainwright RCMP, Wainwright EMT’s and Creech’s funeral home for their care and compassion during this difficult time.
Gord’s life celebration will be held on Thursday, May 29 from 11 am- 2 pm at the Wainwright Comuniplex at 700 2nd Ave in Wainwright, Alberta.
My condolences to the Sales family. Gord was a great guy, always pleasant to be around. I knew Gord through working with the city and Epcor Water. I’m sorry that I couldn’t attend his funeral, but, again send condolences to his family and friends. May he rest in peace.
