Jean Charlotte Brant

Mrs. Jean Charlotte Brant (nee Reeve), passed away peacefully at the age of 93, early Saturday morning on January 3, 2026 in Edmonton, Alberta.
Jean was born May 28, 1932 in Victoria, BC. She is preceded in death by her husband Austen, her brother Len, and her parents Helen and Walter.
Jean is survived by her sons Bruce, Ken, and Tom.
She grew up in Victoria, Vancouver, and Penticton BC where she met Austen. Together since May of 1951, they lived in Beaverdell and Cambourn, BC, then Calgary, AB, Kelowna, BC, and finally Red Deer, AB. Along the way they raised an extended family including Bruce, Ken, Tom, Penny, Cory, and an untold number of foster babies and emergency care children. Later in life, Jean volunteered for many years at The Golden Circle seniors resource centre in Red Deer.
