3 Condolences

It is with great sorrow we say good bye to Kieth after a years battle with cancer. Kieth was the best fur dad Bear and Teddy could have asked for and loving father to Angel until her passing and my best friend, even though he could be the biggest pain in my side, he was also the most supportive person in my life. He will be missed by family, friends and neighbors alike.

Kieth could be funny, entertaining, helpful, supportive irritating and sarcastic. In earlier years pre Goggle he had the strange ability to convince people he was knowledgeable about most everything and was often right or could not be proven wrong. He was a great cook and was famous for his deep dish apple pies, his chilli and his ability to make something out of nothing. A carpenter by trade Kieth’s skills with a saw and a tape measure were unsurpassed, he started his career working for Heinzman Piano and Sklar Peppler Furniture in Ontario before moving west to work on the Edmonton Water Treatment Plant and then got into the countertop business which lead him to Calgary in the late 70’s where he started up his own shop with friends. In the late 1990’s he retired and then spent his time shuttling buses for Cardinal Coachlines and First Student and then moved back to Edmonton to support Brenda’s carreer move. Kieth loved the Harness Horses and in his younger years worked with them for a bit and then turned his passion into becoming an owner for a number of years in Calgary.

Kieth was pre-deceased by his daughter Tara Angel Dawn (Vestby) Young,, his father Donald Young, his mother Ruth Eidt, his step mother Oriole Waite, his beloved grandparents Alex and Dorothy Young, his brother Bruce Young and step sister Tammy, his Uncles and Aunts Armand and Vi and Bob and Helen (Young)his in-laws Berle and Joan Gallie and Mark Gallie and two nephews Dion and Randy Vissia and many of his life time friends.

Until we meet again
